Collected data were analyzed by reliability analysis, factor analysis, frequency analysis, descriptive statistics, t-test, analysis of variance(ANOVA) and multiple regression analysis using IBM SPSS Statistics 22.

Results: Significant positive correlation was shown to all factors between career identity, satisfaction with major, adjusting to college life and self-esteem and the academic achievement, whereas the highest correlation with academic achievement was the adjusting to college life(?=.320). The factors having effects on the academic achievement were an interest and a talent(þá=.356, ? =.012) among career identity factors, and all the variables excluding satisfaction with curriculum for satisfaction with major were significant, while only the academic adjustment(þá=.367, ?=.032) among
adjusting to college life factors had a significant effect, and the factor among sub-factors of self-esteem having an effect on the academic achievement was self-appreciation(þá=.292, ?=.047). The factors being put with significant variables in the same time having effects on the academic achievement were general satisfaction with major(þá=.465, ?=.002) and perceived satisfaction with major(þá=-.415, ?=.003), which showed significant effects on the academic achievement.
